Is Buddy Training Right for You?

Updated: Oct 20
Buddy Training gives two people the structure of professional coaching with the shared energy of training together. It works best when the pairing supports consistency without forcing both people into the exact same workout.
You Do Not Need Identical Fitness Levels
One person may have more experience, use different resistance, or need a different exercise variation. A coach can adjust the movement while keeping both people engaged in the same session structure.
Large differences in goals, scheduling, or training needs can make some pairings less practical. That is why both participants should be part of the consultation before selecting a package.
Shared Accountability Is a Real Advantage
It is easier to cancel on yourself than on someone who expects you to be there. A training partner can create an extra reason to show up, and shared progress can make the experience more enjoyable.
The relationship should still be supportive. The goal is not to compete over every exercise or compare bodies. It is to create a productive environment where both people can work at an appropriate level.
Buddy Training Can Lower the Per-Person Cost
Because two people share the coached session, Buddy Training costs less per person than one-on-one training at KC Fit. Each person still receives instruction, adjustments, and programming considerations based on individual ability.
Choose a Partner Who Shares the Commitment
A good training partner does not need the same goal, but both people should agree on the schedule and take the commitment seriously. Talk in advance about attendance, communication, and what each person wants from the experience.
Start With a Two-Person Consultation
